It all started with Sarah, who is into soft toys and use to have a collection when she was living in Japan. She started talking about how much money ( to get my attention of course!) we can make by making & selling softies (the terms was new to me at that time and she had to show me some pictures) & how easy it is! All you have to do is sew some fabric and fill them with cotton!!
I brushed her off, I was never a fan of sewing and I wanted to concetrate on writing which is my passion. Of course she would not budge and kept making pans and talking excitedly about "Our" softies.
Next morning I woke up to find scattered papers on both of our bedside table. Sara stayed up drawing characters, she drew 6 or 7 characters and they were really good! However I was still not convienced, I didnt want to get into another project, when I am still not done with the ones I have. But she didnt stop kept showing me blogs of ppl who make softies at home to give their childern and friends. slowly I started getting into the idea, I started making little drawings of weird stuff lol (mine were not good as hers!), downloaded tutorials and patterns, even my mom got excited and gave us old clothes and fabrics to work with, and now I think the maid wants in!
